Evidence packs that travel without a phone call
Reviewers should understand your month-end story from the export alone. That is a design problem, not a courtesy.

Reviewers should understand your month-end story from the export alone. That is a design problem, not a courtesy.
A usable pack from a reconciliation audit app usually includes: the match summary by account, the open exception list with ages, linked source references, and a short cover note stating scope and known limitations.
Cover notes matter more than teams expect. Two sentences that say “bank feed for account X arrived one day late; three residuals relate to that delay and are owned by Y” prevent a cascade of clarifying emails.
Attach statements and remittance files only when they answer a specific open item. Dumping the entire bank PDF into every pack creates noise. Link line IDs in comments so a reviewer can jump from exception to proof.
We rehearse this export in module six of Reconciliation Audit Essentials. Graduates often report that external review meetings shortened once packs carried their own narrative.
